Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade:
- M.Sc. / BS-MS / B.E. / B.Tech. / M.C.A.
Specializations: Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Systems Biology, Computational Biology, Bioengineering, Biophysics, or Mathematical Biology.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Programming skills in Python / MATLAB.
- Experience in modelling signalling networks and cellular biophysics.
- Completion of a course in quantitative biology / biomathematics.
- Awardees of national research fellowships (CSIR-JRF/SRF, DBT-JRF/SRF, BINC, UGC-JRF or equivalent).
- A published primary research paper in a peer-reviewed international journal.
