IIT Roorkee Recruitment 2026 – Apply for Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) in Mechanical Engineering

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Materials Engineering / Polymer Engineering / Biotechnology / Biomedical Engineering or allied branches.
• Mandatory 1st Author Publications: Minimum two (02) research publications in SCI-indexed journals with high impact factor in the field of Materials Engineering, Biomaterials, Polymer/Biomedical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Science & drug delivery. Only articles in which the applicant is the FIRST author are considered for screening.
• Characterization Capabilities: Demonstrated working expertise with material characterization tools including SEM, TEM, XRD, TGA, DSC, and HPLC.
• Desirable Background: Industrial experience in bio-composite materials, nanomaterial synthesis, in-vitro/in-vivo biomedical testing, patent generation, and industry-academia collaborative research.
• Tenure: Full-time for 1 Year and 8 Months.

Age criteria as per IIT Roorkee institutional Post-Doctoral Fellowship guidelines.

• Candidates should prepare a comprehensive application package that includes:
