Technical Graduate Course TGC 144 & Lieutenant

• Stipend During Training: ₹56,400 per month.
• Salary on Commissioning (Rank: Lieutenant): Level 10 of the Pay Matrix, ranging from ₹56,100 - ₹1,77,500 per month. Annual CTC is approximately ₹17-18 Lakhs (excluding free medical cover & travel to hometown once a year).
• Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500 per month fixed for Officers from Lieutenant to Brigadier.
• Other Allowances:
  • Dearness Allowance (DA) as applicable to Civilian Personnel.
  • Para Reserve Allowance: ₹2,625/- per month.
  • Technical Allowance (Tier-I): ₹3,000/- per month.
  • Technical Allowance (Tier-II): ₹4,500/- per month.
  • Risk and Hardship Allowances: Varying based on rank and area of posting (e.g., Flying Allowance, HAFA Allowance, Field Area Allowance).
  • Dress Allowance: ₹20,000/- per year.
  • Ration in Kind: Provided in Peace and Field Areas.
  • Transport Allowance (TPTA): ₹7,200/- + DA (for Higher TPTA Cities) and ₹3,600/- + DA (for Other Places) for Pay Level 10 and above.
  • Children Education Allowance: ₹2,250/- per month per child for two eldest surviving children (Pre-primary to 12th class).
  • Hostel Subsidy: ₹6,750/- per month per child for two eldest surviving children (Pre-primary to 12th class).
• Cost of Training: The entire cost of training at Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun is borne by the Government. However, if a cadet withdraws for personal reasons, the cost of training (₹16,260 per week) will be recovered.

Applications must be submitted online through the official Indian Army website. Follow these steps:

1. Visit www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
2. Click on 'Officer Entry Apply/Login' and then 'Registration' (if not already registered). If already registered, proceed to login.
3. Fill out the online registration form carefully, reading all instructions.
4. After registration, click on 'Apply Online' under your Dashboard.
5. On the 'Officers Selection Eligibility' page, click 'Apply' against 'Technical Graduate Course'.
6. Complete the 'Application Form' by filling in details across various segments: Personal information, Communication details, Education details, and details of previous SSB. Click 'Save & Continue' after each segment.
7. Review the 'Summary of your information' page for correctness.
8. Click 'Submit' after confirming all details. Candidates must click 'Submit' each time they open the application for editing.
9. Candidates are advised to take out two copies of their application with the Roll Number, 30 minutes after the final closure of the online application on the last day, for future reference.

Important Notes:

• Aadhaar number and matriculation certificate are mandatory for registration.
• No changes to details can be made after the application closure.
• CGPA/Grades must be converted to marks as per the university's formula.
• Candidate's name, parents' name, and date of birth must match Matriculation/Secondary School Examination Certificate records.
• Self-attested copies of required documents (application printout, matriculation/12th/diploma mark sheets/certificates, engineering degree/provisional degree, all semester mark sheets, CGPA conversion certificate) along with their originals must be carried to the Selection Centre for SSB interview. DIGILOCKER certificates will not be accepted in lieu of originals unless a physical certificate cannot be issued by the institution.
