Educational Qualification
- Post Graduate degree in basic science.
- Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Engineering.
- Candidates must have been selected through one of the following processes:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET or GATE).
- Selection through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies (e.g., DST, DBT, DAE, DOs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISC, IISCR etc.).

Interested and eligible candidates must apply online by visiting the Recruitment Portal of the Research & Development Cell, IIT Guwahati at https://iitg.ac.in/rndproj/recruitment/. Applicants should carefully follow the instructions and guidelines provided on the portal and search for the relevant position using the project title mentioned in this advertisement.
Additionally, candidates are required to email their detailed resume, including all educational qualifications, experience, contact address, phone number, and scanned copies of all relevant documents/certificates (Matriculation onwards) to the Principal Investigator, Prof. Vibin Ramakrishnan, at [email protected] on or before 10th May, 2026, 5:00 PM (Sunday).
Candidates already employed under Central/State Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies/Private Organization must submit a No-objection Certificate (NOC) in advance or at the time of interview.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed via E-mail on 11th May, 2026 (Monday). Selection will be based on performance in the Offline Interview scheduled for 12th May 2026 (Tuesday) at 4:00 PM at N Block Meeting Room, Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati.
