Indian Institute of Technology Jammu Recruitment 2025 – 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Post

• Candidates must hold an M.E./M.Tech./MS(R) or an equivalent degree in CSE/ECE/EE/Microelectronics/VLSI Design and allied subjects with at least 65% marks or equivalent. A 5% marks relaxation is applicable for ST/SC/PH candidates.
• OR
• Candidates with a B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. in CSE/ECE/EE/Electronics/Microelectronics/VLSI Design/Embedded Systems and allied subjects with at least 65% marks or equivalent are also eligible.
• Additionally, candidates must be qualified in any of the National Eligibility Tests/Exams such as CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship), GATE, or national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and Agencies (e.g., DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER). The NET/GATE requirement may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA greater than 8.000.

The upper age limit for applicants is 28 years. Age relaxation of up to 5 years will be provided for SC/ST/OBC/women and physically handicapped candidates.
