Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For all Scientists: Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geophysics, Oceanography, Atmospheric Sciences, or Meteorology with at least 60% marks.
- For Scientist B (Alternative): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks.
- Desirable: Doctorate in relevant field.
Age Limit Details
Upper Age Limits:
- Scientist B: 35 years
- Scientist C: 40 years
- Scientist D: 50 years
Relaxations apply as per Central Government rules (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years).
