- Trade Apprentice - Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) (Code 101): 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).
- Trade Apprentice (Fitter) (Code 102): Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade of minimum 2 years duration with Pass class.
- Technician Apprentice - Chemical (Code 104): 3 years Diploma in Chemical Engg./Petrochemical Engg./Chemical Technology / Refinery and Petrochemical Engg.
- Technician Apprentice - Mechanical (Code 105): 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engg.
- Technician Apprentice - Electrical (Code 106): 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engg./ Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Technician Apprentice - Instrumentation (Code 107): 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engg/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engg, / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
- Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices) (Code 110): Class XII pass.
- Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders) (Code 111): Class XII pass with Skill Certificate holder in 'Domestic Data Entry Operator'.
General Conditions:
- Qualifications must be from a recognized Board/University/Institute as a regular full-time course with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PwBD candidates).
- Candidates whose result of the qualifying examination is awaited are not eligible.
- Higher professional qualifications (e.g., BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA) are not eligible if attained on or before joining apprenticeship training.
- Candidates with prior apprenticeship training in a different trade/discipline may be eligible, subject to a minimum one-year gap (three-month gap for women).
- Candidates with prior job experience of one year or more after qualification are not eligible.
- Candidates who completed five years after acquiring the prescribed qualification are not eligible.
