ISRO URSC Recruitment 2026: 4 Vacancies for Scientist/Engineer & Medical Officer Posts

Employees will be governed by the National Pension System/Unified Pension Scheme. Interested candidates must apply online through the ISRO/URSC websites (www.isro.gov.in / www.ursc.gov.in) between March 23, 2026, and April 12, 2026. Applications will be accepted online only, and upon successful registration, an online registration number will be provided for future reference.

• For Post Code 01 & 03: The application link will be available on the main ISRO/URSC websites.
• For Post Code 02: Candidates must register or update their registration on the ISRO Live Register portal at https://liveregister.isro.gov.in/LRClient.

Applicants are advised to carefully read the full advertisement and verify all details before final submission, as online applications cannot be edited after submission. In case of multiple applications for the same post, only the latest application for which the fee is remitted will be considered valid.

A valid and correctly provided e-mail ID is mandatory, as all communications (including call letters for written test/interview) will be sent via e-mail only.

Candidates currently employed under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Autonomous Bodies must submit a 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) from their employer at the time of interview. Applying with prior intimation to the employer is recommended. Failure to submit the original NOC will lead to disqualification from the interview.

Candidates must upload clear scanned copies of required documents, including a recent color passport-size photograph (200x200 to 500x500 pixels, .jpg/.jpeg, max 1 MB) and signature (100x350 to 200x700 pixels, .jpg/.jpeg, max 1 MB). For foreign university degrees, an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) is required (for Post Code 01). For Post Code 03, all essential qualification and experience certificates, Foreign Medical Graduate Exam certificate, and National Medical Commission/State Medical Council registration certificate must be uploaded.

Application fees can be paid online immediately after submission or any day before the deadline (April 12, 2026) via Bharatkosh portal/payment gateway using Internet Banking, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, or UPI.

A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 250/- is applicable for Scientist/Engineer - 'SC' (Post Code 01) and Medical Officer - 'SC' (Post Code 03). However, all candidates must initially pay a processing fee of Rs. 750/- per application.

• Full Refund (Rs. 750/-): For candidates exempted from application fee (Women, SC/ST/PwBD, Ex-Servicemen).
• Partial Refund (Rs. 500/-): For other candidates who appear in the written test (for Post Code 01) or interview (for Post Code 03).

No application fee is applicable for the post of Scientist/Engineer - 'SD' (Post Code 02).

Refunds will be made to the original payment method, or to the bank account details provided in the application if the original method fails. Accurate bank details are crucial for successful refunds. No refund will be given if a candidate fails to appear for the written test/interview.
