Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Assistant Scientific Officer (Chemistry & Toxicology): Masters Degree in Chemistry/Bio-chemistry/Pharmacology/Forensic Science with at least 50% marks.
- Assistant Scientific Officer (Documents): Masters Degree in Physics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Forensic Science with at least 50% marks.
- Assistant Scientific Officer (Crime Scene): Masters Degree in Forensic Science.
- Assistant Superintendent Jail: Graduation and a Post Graduate Diploma in Social work, Sociology, Psychology, or Criminology. Must also meet physical standards.
- Computer Assistant: Graduation with a one-year Diploma in Computer Software Applications, OR B.Sc. IT/BCA, OR a three-year Diploma in Computer Applications/Software Application from an AICTE recognized institution.
- Laboratory Attendant: 10+2 with Science (Maths or Biology).
Age Limit Details
The age limit is calculated as of 01.01.2025. The category-wise maximum age limits are as follows:
- OM (Open Merit): 40 years
- SC, ST, RBA, ALC/IB, EWS, OBC: 43 years
- Physically Challenged Person: 42 years
- Government Service/Contractual Employment: 40 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 48 years
