The requisite educational qualifications for various posts are:
- Engineering Degrees (B.E./B.Tech): Required in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mining, Mineral Processing, Chemical, Metallurgical Engineering, or any other relevant Engineering/Technology discipline.
- Diplomas: Full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Other Degrees: Bachelor in Architecture, Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (2-year duration) in Management (MBA/PGDM), Social Work (MSW), Arts (MA) with specialization in HRM/IR/Personnel Management/Organization Development/HRD/Labour Welfare, or a Graduate in any discipline (for Marketing roles).
- Science Degrees: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry (for Mineral Processing), Master's (Post graduate) degree in Life Sciences (Zoology/Botany/Environmental Science/Biotechnology for Environmental roles).
- Professional Qualifications: Final examination of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India/The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (for Finance roles).
- Certifications: For Engineer (Safety) and Asst. Engineer (Safety) roles, Diploma/certification courses in Industrial Fire & Safety/Industrial Safety/HSE are required alongside other degrees. For Addl. Engineer (Quality) and Dy. Engineer (Quality) roles, NDT Level-2 Certification might be required alongside Engineering degrees.
All required educational qualifications for Engineering posts must be acquired through Regular/Full Time courses. For other posts (except specific certificate courses for post codes 57, 58, 59), qualifications can be obtained through Regular/Full Time/Open and Distance Learning mode. Qualifications must be from Universities/Institutes recognized by Government or accredited by councils/bodies like UGC/AICTE/MCI/ICAI/ICSI.
