MECON Limited Recruitment 2026: 96 Experienced Professionals (Engineer & Executive Roles)

The consolidated pay against each post is mentioned in the table provided in the notification. In addition to the consolidated pay, the following benefits are offered:

• Allowances: Contract employees posted at site/project locations will receive a Site Allowance of 7.5% of pay. Those posted at Metro Locations will receive a Metro Allowance of 2.5% of pay.
• Annual Increment: An annual increment of 3% of the consolidated pay (rounded to the nearest ten rupees) will be provided, regulated as per company rules.
• Medical Facilities: Medical facilities (OPD, IPD including medicine from Ispat Hospital) will be provided for self, spouse, and 2 dependent children if posted at Ranchi. For other locations, free consultation is available from the company's retainer doctor. Reimbursement of annual premium up to Rs. 15,000/- for Mediclaim policy (Rs. 4,00,000/- on floater basis) is also provided.
• Accommodation: Company's residential accommodation (Family/Bachelor) may be provided depending on availability, on charges as per company rules. If company accommodation is not availed, HRA at 5% of consolidated pay will be provided.
• Leave and Holiday: Includes Casual Leave (12 days/year), Earned Leave (18 days/year, accumulable up to 45 days), Half Pay Leave (14 days/year), Maternity Leave (as applicable), and National/Festival/Restricted Holidays (4 nos.).
• Group Personal Accident Policy: A sum insured of Rs. 25 Lakhs is provided.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must apply online through the MECON Limited website by navigating to the 'Careers' section, then 'Career Opportunities', and finally 'Apply Online'. The application portal will be active during the specified dates, and no other mode of submission will be accepted.

During the online application process, candidates need to upload the following documents:

• Scanned passport-size color photograph (JPG/JPEG format, not exceeding 40 KB).
• Scanned signature with blue/black ink pen (JPG/JPEG format, not exceeding 40 KB).
• Self-attested scanned copies (in PDF format, merged into a single file not exceeding 1 MB) of all supporting documents, including:
  • Matriculation/Secondary Board certificate or Municipal birth certificate for age proof.
  • Final/Provisional Certificates for Graduation and Post-Graduation.
  • All semesters/year's mark sheets or consolidated mark sheet for educational qualification.
  • Work Experience Certificates or other documents as evidence of experience.
  • PAN Card and Aadhaar Card (mandatory; mismatch in Aadhaar number will lead to rejection).
  • Valid caste certificate (OBC-NCL, SC, ST) as per Government of India format (OBC-NCL certificate should not be more than one year old as on advertisement date).
  • PwD category certificate as per Government of India format.
  • Self-attested copy of valid Income & Asset certificate for EWS category.
  • Discharge/Service Certificate for Ex-Servicemen.
  • J&K domicile certificate (if applicable).
  • Meritorious Sportspersons certificate (if applicable).

Ensure all uploaded documents are legible, self-attested, and not encrypted or password-protected. Candidates employed in Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous bodies must either forward their application through the proper channel or produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview. The online application is a prerequisite for forwarding hard copies through proper channels.

Applicants from UR, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and EWS categories must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/-. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, Ex-servicemen categories, and internal candidates are exempt from paying the fee. The fee must be paid online via the payment gateway linked on the MECON website's 'payment tab'. Applications submitted without the applicable fee or with a lesser fee will be rejected.
