Assistant Commissioner Fishing Harbour

This role is ideally suited for highly experienced Civil Engineers with a minimum of five years' specialized experience in Port or Harbour Engineering. Candidates must currently be serving in an analogous post on a regular basis within the Central Government, State Government, Union Territories, recognized Research Institutions, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities, Semi-Government, Autonomous, or Statutory bodies. The position targets professionals seeking a deputation (or short-term contract/promotion) opportunity in a prestigious Group 'A' Gazetted central government role.

This recruitment is not open for freshers or candidates without the specific five years of Port or Harbour Engineering experience. Individuals not currently employed in an eligible government or public sector capacity on a regular basis will not be considered, as the selection method is primarily deputation, short-term contract, or promotion, not direct recruitment from the open market. Applicants exceeding 56 years of age as on the closing date will also be ineligible.
