Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Essential: Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Electrical, Mechanical or Mining Engineering, or any equivalent professional degree in a related discipline. The degree must be obtained after a minimum four-year study post 10+2 from a recognized and reputed Government institution.
  • Desirable: M.Tech, Master's, PhD Degree, or MBA with interdisciplinary knowledge of International Trade & Policy, Government Policy and Regulatory frameworks in Capital Goods Sector, Green Energy, Industrial policy and manufacturing systems, Critical Mineral, Exploration and Mining, Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent specialization in a relevant field.
  • Candidates with additional qualifications, research experience, published works, and post-qualification experience in the relevant field or Government Sector will be preferred.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit for candidates is 32 years as on 30.09.2025. For retired Government servants, the age limit may be relaxed as per DoE's O.M. dated 09.12.2020.

Salary & Pay Scale

The Consultant will be paid a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 70,000/-. The remuneration may be reviewed after completion of one year on an annual basis. The enhancement of remuneration may be based on performance criteria, with the total enhancement not exceeding 10% annually.
