The scale of pay for the post is Rs. 80000-125000/- (pre-revised). Candidates from CPSEs will have their allowances and perks protected, subject to a maximum ceiling of 35% of the basic pay, as per DPE guidelines applicable to their parent organization.

A minimum length of service of one year in the eligible scale is required as on the date of vacancy (2026-01-14).

• CMDs/MDs/Functional Directors in State PSE: Through the concerned Administrative Secretary and Cadre Controlling Authority (if any) of the State Government.
• Private Sector: Directly to the Ministry of Steel.

• Bio-data of the candidate in the prescribed proforma (as per Annexure I).
• Soft copies of up-to-date CR dossiers of the officer for the last ten years, duly attested/authenticated, along with statements of gradings.
• Cadre Clearance (if applicable).
• Complete Vigilance Profile of the last 10 years, duly signed by the CVO/HOD.
• Integrity certificate (if applicable).
• Statement detailing major or minor penalties (if any) imposed on the officer in the last ten years.
• Annual Reports of the current company for the 3 financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised (provide URL or attach copies).
• Documentary proof of whether the company is listed (provide URL or attach copies).
• Evidence of working at Board level.
• Self-attested copies of documents supporting age and qualifications.
• Details of relevant jobs handled in the past.
