Mumbai Port Authority Recruitment 2026: 1 Vacancy for Materials Manager

The position of Materials Manager in Mumbai Port Authority is offered in the pay scale of Rs. 80,000 - 2,20,000 under the Composite method.

To apply for the Materials Manager position at Mumbai Port Authority, candidates must follow these steps:

• Applications are to be submitted online through the 'Online Application Portal (OAP)' of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways at http://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in. The portal will be active from March 13, 2026, to April 13, 2026.
• No applications submitted through any method other than OAP will be accepted.
• After submitting the online application, candidates must submit a hard copy of the application form (uploaded in OAP) to their respective administrative Port for onward forwarding to the Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA).
• Administrative Ports are required to forward the applications of eligible candidates to the Mumbai Port Authority on or before April 28, 2026. The envelope should be superscribed 'Application for the post of Materials Manager in Mumbai Port Authority'.
• Along with the application, the following documents must be forwarded:
  • Certified copies of APARs for the last 5 years (2020-21 to 2024-25), duly attested by an officer not below the rank of Dy. HOD on each page.
  • A statement showing year-wise availability of APARs and grading, duly signed by the HOD/Secretary. If an APAR for a specific year during the last 5 years is unavailable, a 'No Report Certificate' must be furnished along with APARs of preceding years.
  • Attested photocopies of all certificates and proof of educational qualification, present and past work experience in the respective post and pay scale.
  • No Objection Certificate from the respective Port.
  • An undertaking from the applicant stating they will not withdraw their candidature if selected by the Services Selection Committee.
  • Administrative clearance from the concerned port (Annexure II).
  • Vigilance report in the prescribed format (Annexure III).
  • Details of any major or minor penalties imposed on the applicant during the last 10 years, along with necessary documents related to the disciplinary case.
• Applications must be received through the proper channel from the administrative Port. Applications received after April 28, 2026, or incomplete applications will not be considered.
• The crucial date for determining eligibility criteria is April 13, 2026.
