Mumbai Port Authority Recruitment 2026: 3 Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil) Vacancies

The position of Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil) in the Mumbai Port Authority offers a pay scale of Rs. 80,000 - 2,20,000.

Applications are invited from eligible and willing officers of all Major Port Authorities. The application process is as follows:

• Applications must be submitted online through the 'Online Application Portal (OAP)' of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, accessible at http://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in.
• The online application window is from January 21, 2026, to February 20, 2026.
• After submitting the online application, candidates must take a hard copy of the application form uploaded in OAP.
• This hard copy, along with the following supporting documents, must be submitted to their respective administrative Port for onward forwarding to the Mumbai Port Authority:
  • Certified copies of APARs for the last 5 years (2020-21 to 2024-25), duly attested by an officer not below the rank of Dy. HOD on each page.
  • A statement showing year-wise availability of APARs and grading, duly signed by the Head of Department/Secretary.
  • Attested photocopies of all certificates and proof of educational qualification, present and past work experience in the respective post and pay scale.
  • No objection certificate from the respective Port.
  • Undertaking of the applicant that they will not withdraw their candidature if selected by the Services Selection Committee.
  • Administrative clearance of the concerned port (as per Annexure II).
  • Vigilance report in the prescribed format (as per Annexure III).
  • Two passport size photographs.
  • If any major or minor penalty has been imposed on the applicant during the last 10 years, the disciplinary case leading to such penalty along with necessary documents must be sent by the forwarding authority.
• Administrative Ports are required to forward these applications to the Mumbai Port Authority, super-scribing "Application for the post of Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil) in Mumbai Port Authority" on or before March 09, 2026.
• Applications not submitted through OAP will not be accepted.
• Candidature will not be considered if the application is not received through the proper channel from the Port within 15 days of the last date of receipt of applications by the administrative Port, or if received after March 09, 2026.
• Incomplete applications will also not be considered.
