Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Optional (Preference Given): M.E./ M. Tech or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Mandatory: GATE qualified.
Further Logical Progression: Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Age Limit Details

Candidates should not exceed 35 years of age as on the closing date of application (19.09.2025). Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates as per Government of India Rules.

Salary & Pay Scale

The pay scale for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is Rs. 37,000/- p.m. for the first two years. For candidates with GATE qualification, the pay increases to Rs. 42,000/- p.m. in the third year (Senior Research Fellow - SRF).
