- Shift Manager (CE-07): Requires a Degree in Mining Engineering from a Government-approved institute, along with a 1st Class Mines Manager Certificate (Coal).
- Welfare Officer (CE-06): Requires a University degree with MBA (HR specialization) or a Master's degree/PG Diploma in Social Science/Labour Welfare/Personnel Management, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Labour Ministry.
- Assistant Shift In charge (CE-06): Requires a Degree in Mining Engineering from a Government-approved institute, along with a 2nd Class Mines Manager Certificate (Coal).
- Assistant Colliery Engineer (Mine)(Electrical) (CE-06): Requires a Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a Government-approved institute.
- Assistant Colliery Engineer (Mine) (Mechanical) (CE-06): Requires a Degree in Mechanical or Mining Machinery Engineering from a Government-approved institute.
- Assistant Safety Officer (Mine) (CE-06): Requires a Degree in Mining Engineering from a Government-approved institute, along with a 2nd Class Mines Manager Certificate (Coal).
- Overman Coal (Safety/Production/Blasting/Shift) (CE-04): Requires a Diploma in Mining Engineering/Mining and Mine Surveying from a recognized institute, with a 2nd Class Manager Certificate/Overman certificate of Competency (Coal) issued by DGMS, and a Valid First Aid certificate.
All essential qualifications must be acquired from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC/AICTE/DGMS/Govt. of India. Diploma in Engineering qualifications must be of 3 years duration.
