The selection process involves a written examination to assess suitability. Key details are:

• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Total Number of Questions: 100
• Marks per Question: 1 mark
• Total Marks: 100 marks
• Duration of Examination: 120 minutes
• Examination Pattern: Two parts:
  • Part I: General Knowledge & General Awareness - 40 Marks
  • Part II: Professional Aptitude Test - 60 Marks
• Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Written Examination:

• General (UR) Candidates: 40% of total marks
• SC/ST/PwD Candidates: 35% of total marks

Applicants must attach self-attested copies of the following relevant documents and ensure the application is duly forwarded by their Controlling Officer to their respective HODs by August 14, 2026, and subsequently submitted with all relevant documents to the NEE Dept., BCCL, HQ by August 18, 2026:

• Educational/Technical qualification certificates (including proof of DOB). If qualification was acquired post-appointment, an office order granting permission from the competent authority must also be attached.
• Valid Caste Certificate (if applicable, for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
• Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) for the last three years (2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26) or actual work period.
• Departmental Clearance (DC).
• Attested Passport Size Photograph.

Incomplete applications, those received after the deadline, or applications not submitted through the proper channel will be rejected. References for appointment date, birth date, and name spelling will be fetched from SAP.
