Best-Fit Profile

Experienced legal professionals or advocates registered with the Bar Council, possessing a minimum of three years of continuous practice, are ideally suited for this role. Candidates passionate about providing legal aid services and willing to serve across various district and taluka legal services committees in Rajasthan, especially in Civil, Criminal, Revenue, and Child-related legal matters, will find this opportunity rewarding. Those with a proven track record, evidenced by at least five personally argued and merit-decided judgments, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Important Considerations

Individuals lacking the mandatory three years of continuous legal practice post Bar Council registration should not apply. Those seeking a permanent government position with a fixed salary structure will find this role unsuitable, as it is an empanelment-based contractual position with an honorarium rather than a fixed salary. Applicants unwilling to commit to ethical legal aid service delivery, including not charging fees from beneficiaries, should also refrain from applying.

Career Impact

Empanelment with the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority offers significant professional prestige and a unique opportunity to contribute to social justice by providing legal aid to the underserved across Rajasthan. While a contractual role, it offers invaluable experience in diverse legal fields within the state's legal framework. This position serves as a strong platform for advocates to enhance their professional profile, develop their legal expertise, and network within the judiciary and legal services community, ensuring long-term professional growth and recognition in public service.
