• Technician Apprentice (105 Posts): Diploma in Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwBD). Allied engineering branches are not acceptable.
• Trade Apprentice (76 Posts): B.Sc with Chemistry/Physics/Maths (for AOCP, IMCP, LACP) or 10+2 with Science (for Boiler Attendant, Electrician, Horticulture Assistant, MLT Pathology) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
• Passing Year Criterion: Candidate must possess passing certificate/final mark sheet on or after 01.07.2023.
• Candidates with prior apprenticeship training, 1+ year job experience, or pursuing higher studies are not eligible.

Selection is based purely on the merit list drawn in order of percentage of marks secured in the prescribed essential educational qualification and applicable reservation. In case of equal marks, candidate with higher qualification or higher marks in preceding educational qualification is placed higher. Shortlisted candidates are called for Document Verification and must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government/Municipal Hospital. Final appointment is formalized upon approval of the apprenticeship contract on NATS/NAPS portals.

Consolidated monthly stipend ranging from ₹14,600/- to ₹17,300/- (partly disbursed via DBT by BOAT Western Region for Graduate and Technician apprentices).
