- Assistant Engineer (OT)/Electrical: Full-time regular BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with a minimum of 55% marks, or AMIE with 55% marks.
- Assistant Manager/IT: Full-time regular BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in CS/IT with minimum 60% marks, OR Full-time regular MCA with at least 60% marks, OR Full-time regular Master's degree in IT with at least 60% marks.
- Accounts Officer: CA/CWA/CMA.
- Divisional Accountant: Full-time regular B.Com with minimum 60% marks, OR Full-time regular M.Com with minimum 50% marks, OR CA Inter/CWA Inter/CMA Inter.
- Junior Engineer/Electrical: Full-time regular 3 or 4 years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engg. with 60% marks, OR BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg. in the same disciplines with 50% marks.
- Junior Engineer/Civil: Full-time regular 3 or 4 years Diploma in Civil Engg. with 60% marks, OR BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg. in Civil with 50% marks.
- Junior Engineer/Communication: Full-time regular 3 or 4 years Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication Engg. with 60% marks, OR BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg. in the same disciplines with 50% marks.
- Law Officer Grade-II: Full-time graduation with minimum 60% marks AND full-time regular graduation in Law (3-year professional course) with 60% marks, OR 5 years Integrated Degree in Law with 60% marks.
- Telephone Mechanic: Matriculation and 2-year ITI Craftsman course in Radio Mechanic/Wireless Mechanic trade OR Matriculation with a course in Telephone Mechanic from a recognized centre.
- Lower Division Clerk/Typist: Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks and a certificate of at least 120 hours in computer use (or 'O' level certificate from DOEACC). Punjabi passed up to Matric standard is mandatory.
- Lower Division Clerk/Accounts: Bachelor of Commerce with minimum 50% marks and a certificate of at least 120 hours in computer use (or 'O' level certificate from DOEACC). Punjabi passed up to Matric standard is mandatory.
Note: All candidates must have passed Punjabi of at least Matriculation level.
