Rail Wheel Factory Junior Engineer (Transport) Recruitment 2026: 01 Vacancy in Bangalore

This role is ideally suited for existing Group C staff within Rail Wheel Factory who are currently in Level-5 of the RS (RP) Rules 2016 and possess a minimum of two years of service in that grade. The ideal candidate will have strong practical knowledge of road transport vehicle maintenance, supervisory skills for drivers, familiarity with the Motor Vehicle Act and RTO procedures, and a valid driving license for both two-wheelers and light motor vehicles. This is an internal opportunity for a fixed-term ex-cadre assignment.

External candidates are not eligible as this is an internal recruitment for existing RWF staff. Individuals not currently in Level-5 or lacking the mandatory two years of service in that grade should not apply. Those without a valid driving license or specific technical and administrative knowledge related to transport vehicles and RTO formalities will also find themselves unsuitable. Staff who have previously completed an ex-cadre tenure are explicitly ineligible to volunteer again.
