Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a B.E. / B. Tech. OR M.E / M. Tech in Computer Science / Electronics Related Discipline. Additionally, candidates must be selected through any one of the following processes:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests such as JEE, CSIR - UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- Selected through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
Salary & Pay Scale
The consolidated pay for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is Rs. 37,000/- per month plus 20% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
How to Apply
Applications are invited on a prescribed format for the post of Junior Research Fellow. The application form and details of educational qualifications and relevant experience are available on the Institute website.
Steps to Apply:
- Download the application form from http://www.svnit.ac.in.
- Duly fill and sign the application form.
- Collect self-attested scanned copies of B. Tech. / M. Tech. / Ph. D. mark-sheets of all semesters, relevant experience certificates, and other necessary documents.
- Compile all documents into a single PDF file.
- Submit the single PDF file by email to [email protected] on or before 01st December, 2025.
- The subject of the email must be "Application for the post of JRF”.
Note: Applications received after the last date will not be considered. Shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the institute website on 03rd December, 2025. Interviews will be held on 05th December, 2025, with final date/venue communicated via email. Online interviews may be considered. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
