Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University. The incumbent will be responsible for Office Administrative work.
Desirable:
- Experience in office administrative work, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), or Extension Education Projects activities from a reputed institution or firm.
- Master's degree from a recognized University.

Age Limit Details

The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 32 years as of 30.03.2026. Relaxation of age limits will be applicable to candidates as per Tamil Nadu Government rules.

Salary & Pay Scale

The staff recruited for the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) posts will receive pay scale, allowances, and other service benefits as allowed by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). These positions are 100% funded by ICAR, and all expenditures will be borne out of ICAR funds. The services of employees in KVKs will be governed by the conditions prescribed by the University.

Candidates currently employed in State or Central Government or other organizations must route their applications through the proper channel/employer. Advance copies will be considered, but a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or original application forwarded by the competent authority will be required at the interview.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs. 1000/- for General candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates. The fee must be paid via a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'THE FINANCE OFFICER, TAMIL NADU Dr. J. JAYALALITHAA FISHERIES UNIVERSITY', payable at Nagapattinam. The Demand Draft should not be dated prior to the advertisement's issue date and must be valid for at least three months.
