This role is ideally suited for highly experienced finance professionals holding an M.Com or MBA in Finance. Candidates must possess a robust 7-8 years of work experience, specifically within the Finance and Accounts domain of the non-profit sector, with a proven track record in project management. Strong communication (both English and Marathi preferred), teamwork, and independent work capabilities are essential. The ideal candidate will be motivated to contribute to a social development project like Prayas and be willing to undertake necessary travel.

Fresh graduates or candidates with less than 7 years of relevant experience, particularly outside the non-profit sector, should not apply. Individuals seeking a permanent government position will find this temporary, contract-based role (initially for one year) unsuitable. Lack of proficiency in accounting systems and general computer applications, or an inability to travel, would also be significant drawbacks. Candidates above 40 years of age as of April 30, 2026, without specific age relaxations, would also be ineligible.
