Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have successfully completed Basic Health Worker (Female) training course (including 6 months of delivery training) as per the educational qualifications prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
- Candidate must be duly registered with the Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council by the last date of online application.
Age Limit Details
Age will be calculated as on 01 July 2025. The minimum age is 18 years and maximum is 42 years.
Age Relaxation:
- Up to 5 years for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) of Uttarakhand state.
- Up to 5 years for dependents of freedom fighters (DFF) of Uttarakhand state.
- For Ex-servicemen of Uttarakhand, the period of military service will be reduced from their actual age, and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit for the post/service by more than 3 years, they will be considered to meet the age criteria.
- Provisions for age relaxation for Orphan Children of Uttarakhand are applicable as per government letters.
Salary & Pay Scale
The pay scale for the Health Worker (Female) post is as per Pay Band-1, ₹ 5200-20200, Grade Pay-2000, revised to Level-3 of the Pay Matrix ₹ 21700-69100 under the 7th Pay Commission.

Candidates must apply online through the UKMSSB website. The application process involves three steps:
- Registration: Visit www.ukmssb.org, click on "Apply Now", then "Candidate, register Here" to register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Application Submission: Access the online application link for "Health Worker (FEMALE) Examination- 2025", click "Click Here" and "Continue". Fill the application form accurately, ensuring all eligibility conditions are met by the last date. Upload a scanned passport-size photograph (max 50KB, JPG) and signature (max 50KB, JPG).
- Final Submission: Carefully review all entered details. After confirming accuracy, submit the application and pay the required fee online via Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card. No changes are allowed after final submission and fee payment.

- Sub Category Certificates (Dependent of Freedom Fighter/Ex-Army/Orphan Children of Uttarakhand state), if applicable
