AIIMS Delhi Recruitment 2026 – Apply for Clinical Research Coordinator Post

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is stationed in the Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at AIIMS New Delhi, Ansari Nagar, working directly under Professor & Head Dr. Anant Mohan on the landmark international EMBARK Phase-3 clinical trial. The study evaluates the biologic monoclonal antibody Tezepelumab in patients with moderate to very severe COPD. Daily duties involve screening and enrolling eligible adult patients from pulmonary outpatient clinics, obtaining informed consent under strict ICMR and ICH-GCP ethical standards, coordinating pulmonary function tests (spirometry, DLCO, 6-minute walk tests), scheduling patient follow-up visits, monitoring drug storage/cold-chain accountability, managing electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) on clinical data platforms, and reporting adverse events (AE/SAE) to institutional ethics committees and clinical trial monitors.

Stationed at Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, AIIMS New Delhi, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi – 110029. The position is purely on a temporary project contract basis with funding sanctioned through February 2029 (approx 2.5 years), offering stability over standard short-term projects.

Paid a fixed monthly consolidated salary of ₹30,000/- per month. While project positions do not confer regular absorption into the AIIMS permanent non-faculty cadre, hands-on experience coordinating a global multicentre Phase-3 clinical trial at India's apex medical institute serves as a gold-standard launchpad for senior clinical research associate (CRA), clinical trial manager, and regulatory affair positions across leading pharmaceutical sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs).
