Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Essential Qualifications:
- A Graduate (B.Sc / B. Tech) degree in relevant subjects (Zoology, Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Technician, Applied Biology) from a recognized university with three years' work experience.
- OR
- A Post graduate (Master's) degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or Medical Biochemistry with prior experience in handling human samples in diagnostic work.
- Note: A Graduate in relevant subjects from a recognized university with three years' work experience from a recognized Institution will be considered equivalent to a Master's degree.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- 2 years' work experience in handling patient diagnostic samples, preferably from a reputed molecular diagnostic laboratory.
- Proficiency in molecular techniques, including PCR, RT-PCR, and gene sequencing, with at least 1 year experience in a diagnostic laboratory.
- Ability to use computer applications.
- Experience in writing reports and scientific documents.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English and Hindi.
Age Limit Details
Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, and OBC candidates against reserved posts only, in accordance with Central Government instructions. Age concession may also be admissible for those with experience in other research projects.
Salary & Pay Scale
The monthly salary for the Research Assistant post is Rs. 35,000 (Consolidated).
