Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized University.
For General/OBC candidates, a minimum of 55% aggregate marks is required, or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com).
For Arts or Science graduates, Mathematics or Statistics must be one of the subjects with 55% marks or its equivalent in Honors.
For Departmental, SC/ST candidates, the minimum qualification marks in a Bachelor's Degree is 50%.
Proficiency in computer application with a diploma certificate of minimum 3 months duration is mandatory.

Age Limit Details

Upper age limit relaxations are applicable as follows:

SC/ST: Upto 43 years (5 years relaxation).
OBC/MOBC: Upto 41 years (3 years relaxation).
Ex-Servicemen (Unreserved): Maximum 50 years as on 01/01/2024.
Ex-Servicemen (OBC/MOBC): Further 3 years relaxation.
Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST): Further 5 years relaxation.
Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years relaxation (irrespective of category).

Salary & Pay Scale

The pay scale includes a basic pay, grade pay, and other allowances as admissible to Assam State Government employees from time to time.

Visit the APSC recruitment website (https://apscrecruitment.in).
New users must register for One Time Registration (OTR) by clicking 'Register Here' and providing basic details.
Registered users should log in with their credentials.
Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) by providing personal information, educational qualifications, work experience, and uploading a recent photo (50-200 KB, not older than 3 months) and signature (50-200 KB).
After OTR submission, download the details and proceed to the 'Applicant Section' > 'Apply Section' to submit the application form.
Carefully read the eligibility criteria and fill all mandatory fields in the online form.
Upload scanned documents/certificates (e.g., Date of Birth, Experience, Qualifications) in PDF format (file size not exceeding 2 MB, legible at 200 dpi grayscale).
Ensure all information is correctly filled before final submission, as editing is not allowed afterward.
Pay the application fee along with the processing fee online. If payment fails, use the 'Validate Payment' button.
An auto-generated email will be sent upon successful completion of the application.
Applications without fee payment will not be considered.
Applicants without debit card/internet banking can apply through Common Service Centers (CSC).

Important Note: The eligibility criteria will be determined as on the closing date for submitting the Online Recruitment Application.
