Educational Qualification

Eligibility Criteria:
  • For Community Health Officer (Nursing):
    • Passed Integrated course of BPCCHN included in B.Sc. Nursing in the year 2021 or thereafter from an institute recognized by West Bengal Nursing Council.
    • OR Passed General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) / Post Basic B.Sc. / B.Sc. Nursing before the year 2021 from an institute recognized by West Bengal Nursing Council.
    • Must have a registration certificate / provisional certificate from the West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).
  • For Community Health Officer (BAMS):
    • Passed BAMS from a recognized Institute/University.
    • Must have a registration certificate / provisional certificate from Paschim Banga Ayurved Parisad (West Bengal Ayurved Council).
  • All applicants must be proficient in Bengali/local language and dialect.

Age Limit Details

Candidates must be up to 40 years of age as on the 1st of April of the year of publication of the notice. Age relaxation for reserved candidates is applicable as per government norms.

Salary & Pay Scale

  • A consolidated remuneration of Rs. 20,000 per month will be provided.
  • Additionally, Community Health Officers (CHOs) are eligible for a maximum performance-linked incentive (PLI) of Rs. 5,000 per month based on approved parameters.
  • During the training period, candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month.

Application Fee

Application fee is Rs. 100 for UR candidates and Rs. 50 for reserved category candidates. The fee must be paid online and is non-refundable.
