Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • For B.Sc. Nurses with Integrated course of BPCCHN:
    • Passed Integrated course of BPCCHN included in B. Sc. Nursing in the year 2021 or thereafter from an institute recognised by West Bengal Nursing Council.
    • Must have registration certificate/provisional certificate issued from West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).
  • For General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) / Post Basic B.Sc/ B.Sc. Nursing:
    • Passed General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) or Post Basic B.Sc / B.Sc. Nursing before the year 2021 from an institute recognised by West Bengal Nursing Council.
    • Must have registration certificate issued from West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).
  • For BAMS Doctors:
    • Passed BAMS from a recognised Institute/University.
    • Must have registration certificate/provisional certificate from Paschim Banga Ayurved Parisad (West Bengal Ayurved Council).
  • Common Requirements:
    • Proficiency in Bengali/ local language & dialect is essential.
    • Competency in MS Office & Internet is desirable.

Age Limit Details

Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as on 1st April, 2025. Age relaxation for reserved candidates will be provided as per existing Government norms of the State Government.

Salary & Pay Scale

The consolidated remuneration for Community Health Officers (CHO) is Rs. 20,000.00 per month. In addition, CHOs are eligible for a maximum incentive of Rs. 5,000.00 per month as Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) based on approved parameters. During their training period, candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 10,000.00 per month.
