DMHO East Godavari ASHA Recruitment 2026

Candidates must be female residents of the respective village/ward/slum cluster with a minimum educational qualification of 10th Class (SSC pass). Preference will be given to women who are Married, Widowed, Divorced, or Separated, with leadership qualities and effective communication skills in Telugu. Minimum age is 25 years and maximum age is 45 years (relaxation permissible if no eligible candidate is found in the habitations).

Candidates should preferably be in the age group of 25 to 45 years. Age and educational criteria may be relaxed if no suitable woman with prescribed qualifications is available in the specific habitation.

1. Download and print the official application proforma attached with Notification No. 01/2026 from the East Godavari district portal (eastgodavari.ap.gov.in).
2. Fill out the application form with personal details, husband/father's name, date of birth, social status/caste, address, village/ward name, and Aadhaar/Ration card details.
3. Obtain the official endorsement and resolution from the local Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Committee (VHSNC) / Urban Health Sanitation and Nutrition Committee (UHSNC) of the respective habitation/slum.
4. Attach self-attested photocopies of all mandatory documents: SSC pass certificate (DOB proof), local residence certificate/Ration card, caste certificate issued by the Tahsildar/MRO, SADAREM disability certificate (if applicable), and VHSNC resolution copy.
5. Submit the completed application in person to the Medical Officer of the concerned Primary Health Centre (PHC) / Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) on or before 25/09/2026.
