Educational Qualification

Post-wise essential qualifications:
1. Engineering Officer Gr. 1: First Class B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/EEE or Civil with valid GATE score (2024/2025/2026).
2. Engineering Assistant: First Class 3-year Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical with 5 years experience.
3. Scientific Assistant: First Class B.Sc. in Chemistry with 5 years experience.
4. Technician Gr. 1: ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical.
5. Technical Attendant Gr. 1: 10th Standard / Matriculation pass (ITI desirable).
6. Assistant Gr. II: First Class Bachelor's Degree (BA/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/BBM/BCA) and minimum Grade-B certificate in Basic Computer Course (BCC) from NIELIT.
7. MTS Gr. 1 (Watch & Ward): Matriculation pass (reserved for Ex-Servicemen).

Age Limit & Relaxations

Crucial date for determining age limit is 12.10.2026. Upper age limit: Engineering Officer Gr. 1: 30 years; Engineering Assistant & Scientific Assistant: 35 years; Technician Gr. 1: 28 years; Technical Attendant Gr. 1 & Assistant Gr. II: 30 years; MTS Gr. 1: 25 years. Relaxable for SC/ST (5 yrs), OBC-NCL (3 yrs), PwBD (10-15 yrs), and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules.
