Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI), Kolkata is an apex autonomous cancer research and treatment institution under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, operating across two major campuses: 1st Campus at S.P. Mukherjee Road (Hazra) and 2nd Campus at New Town (Rajarhat). Security Guards are entrusted with access control, patient queue discipline, visitor tracking, parking enforcement, emergency ward security, and 24x7 perimeter patrolling across clinical wards and research complexes. Duties are performed in rotating 8-hour shifts under the supervision of hospital administration and the security agency.
