DHS Kanniyakumari Staff Recruitment 2026

Qualifications across 21 post categories:
• Medical Officer: MBBS or equivalent from an MCI-recognized institution with completed compulsory rotatory internship and active Tamil Nadu Medical Council (TNMC) registration.
• Consultant (Ayurveda): BAMS degree registered with the Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine / TNMC.
• Audiologist cum Speech Therapist: BASLP or B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) from an RCI-recognized institute.
• Coordinators (PPM / PMDT): Post Graduate / Graduate with 1 year health project experience and a valid two-wheeler driving license.
• Senior Treatment Supervisor (STS) & STLS: Bachelor's Degree / Sanitary Inspector course / DMLT with computer certification and two-wheeler license.
• Counselor: Master's or Bachelor's in Social Work / Psychology / Sociology / Public Health.
• Mid Level Health Provider (MLHP): DGNM or B.Sc. Nursing with valid registration in Tamil Nadu Nurses & Midwives Council.
• Pharmacist: Degree / Diploma in Pharmacy with 1 year hospital store management experience.
• Health Inspector Gr-II (MPHW Male) [29 Posts]: Higher Secondary (+2) with Biology or Botany & Zoology, Tamil passed at SSLC level, and 2-year Sanitary Inspector / Multipurpose Health Worker course certificate recognized by DPH.
• ANM / Urban Health Nurse [22 Posts]: 12th pass with 1 or 2-year ANM training approved by DPH and up-to-date TN Nurses Council registration.
• Data Entry Operator & Radiographer: 10th/+2 with Diploma in Computer Applications / DMRT.
• Dental Assistant & Therapeutic Assistant: 10th pass with dental experience / Diploma in Nursing Therapy.
• Support Staff (Hospital Worker, Security, Attender): Minimum 8th Pass with ability to read and write Tamil.

Age limits as on 01.07.2026:
• Medical Officer, DEO, Dental Assistant, TB Health Visitor, MPHW: Up to 45 Years.
• Audiologist, Counselor, ANM / Urban Health Nurse, Radiographer: Up to 40 Years.
• Health Inspector Gr-II, Mid Level Health Provider: Up to 50 Years.
• Consultant (Ayurveda), Therapeutic Assistant, Attender, Security Guard: Up to 59 Years.
Age relaxations apply per Government of Tamil Nadu reservation and priority norms.

1. Download the official application form from the Kanniyakumari District portal at kanniyakumari.nic.in.
2. Fill in the application proforma neatly, clearly specifying the exact post name applied for (Notification No. 1195/A5/2026).
3. Affix a recent passport-size photograph in the designated space.
4. Attach self-attested photocopies of all requisite certificates: (a) Date of Birth proof (Birth Certificate / SSLC mark sheet); (b) Educational certificates and all mark sheets (SSLC, HSC, Degree, Diploma); (c) Up-to-date Council Registration Certificate (TNMC / TNNMC / Pharmacy Council); (d) Community Certificate; (e) Nativity / Residential Certificate from Revenue Department and Aadhaar card; (f) Conduct certificate issued within the last 3 months by a Group A or Group B officer; (g) Healthcare / hospital experience certificate (certified by JDHS for private or DHO for community institutions); and (h) Priority certificate under G.O. 122 (if applicable).
5. Submit the completed application form with enclosures in person or dispatch via Speed Post addressed to: Executive Secretary, District Health Society / Deputy Director of Health Services, District Health Office, Krishnankovil, Nagercoil - 629001, Kanniyakumari District.
6. Ensure the application packet reaches on or before 30.09.2026 by 5:00 PM. Applications submitted after the deadline or without mentioning the post name will be rejected.
