C-MET Hyderabad Project Personnel Walk-in 2026

Project Scientist (1 Post - UR): Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science; OR M.E./M.Tech with 3 years research experience and at least one research paper in an SCI Journal. Desirable: Research experience in extractive metallurgy, powder metallurgy, alloy, and magnet preparation.

Project Staff Technical (3 Posts - 2 OBC, 1 SC): First class (minimum 60%) Diploma in Electrical, Civil, or Instrumentation Engineering.

Project Staff Admin (1 Post - UR): First class (minimum 60%) B.Com, B.A., or B.Sc. degree with 2 years of work experience, good computer proficiency, MS Office tools, and accounts handling.

Maximum age limit as on the date of the walk-in interview (22.09.2026): Project Scientist: 40 years; Project Staff Technical: 31 years for OBC, 33 years for SC; Project Staff Admin: 28 years (UR). Age relaxation applies as per Govt. of India rules for reserved posts (3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC); no relaxation is permissible for UR posts.

1. Download and print the official application format from the C-MET portal (www.cmet.gov.in) or print it directly from the advertisement notification.
2. Fill in all details in block letters: position applied for, personal details, educational qualifications from 10th/Matriculation onwards, NET/GATE credentials, chronological employment experience, and list of publications/projects.
3. Provide contact details of two professional references in Section 21 and attach a half/full-page write-up describing how your experience aligns with the project requirements.
4. Paste a recent signed passport-size photograph and enclose self-attested photocopies of all certificates, mark sheets, proof of date of birth, caste certificate (OBC-NCL/SC), appointment letters, experience certificates, and latest pay slips.
5. Employed candidates in Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies must bring an authentic 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC).
6. Report for registration between 09:00 AM and 10:00 AM on 22/09/2026 at: Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET), IDA Phase – III, Cherlapally, HCL (PO), Hyderabad – 500 051 (Accessible via TSRTC bus route 250C from Secunderabad and Tarnaka).
7. Present all original documents and certificates before the Screening Committee for verification.
