Educational Qualification

Candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification recognized by AICTE / appropriate statutory authority / State / Central Government.
  • Essential Professional Experience: Verified post-qualification experience in Government ITIs or Regional Instruction Centres (RIC) in any of the following supervisory or instructional capacities:
    • Inspector of Training
    • Principal Class I / Vice Principal / Principal Class II
    • Training Officer / Trade Test Officer
  • Desirable Experience: (a) Experience in dealing with matters relating to Apprenticeship training schemes; (b) Knowledge of working in a computerized office environment.

Age Limit & Relaxations

The upper age limit prescribed for the post shall not exceed 62 years as on 01 October 2026 (i.e., applicants should be born on or after 02 October 1964). Vacancies are under Unreserved (UR) category.
