Educational Qualification

Pay Scale & Monthly Remuneration

In accordance with Ministry of Finance OM No. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA and DoT orders:

  • Retired Central Govt Employees: Fixed monthly remuneration equal to Last Basic Pay Drawn minus Basic Pension.
  • Retired PSU Employees (BSNL/MTNL): Remuneration fixed at 50% of Notional Basic Pay calculated as the mean of Cell-1 and Cell-10 of Level 6.
  • Transport Allowance: Fixed amount not exceeding the rate applicable at retirement for commuting.
  • No DA, HRA, or Annual Increment is admissible during the contract period.

Monthly remuneration is determined as per Ministry of Finance Department of Expenditure OM No. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated 09.12.2020. For retired Central Government personnel, remuneration is fixed as Last Basic Pay drawn minus Basic Pension. For retired PSU personnel (BSNL/MTNL), remuneration is fixed at 50% of the notional basic pay (mean of Cell-1 and Cell-10 of Level 6). A fixed Transport Allowance is admissible. No DA, HRA, annual increment, or other allowances are payable. Contract duration is initially 6 months, extendable up to 6 terms of 6 months each or up to 65 years of age.
