The Office of the Custodian was established under the Special Court (Trial of Offences Relating to Transaction in Securities) Act, 1992. Its primary function is to monitor court cases in the Special Court and defend the interests of the Government with the assistance of solicitors and counsels.

Salary & Pay Scale

The selected officer will be placed in Level-13 of the pay matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission guidelines. Other allowances will be admissible as per the rules for deputation posts.
