DRDO Consultant Recruitment 2026: 1 Vacancy for Retired Government Officers

• For Pensioners: A fixed monthly amount is admissible, calculated by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. This amount remains unchanged for the contract term, with no annual increment. A fixed monthly conveyance allowance of Rs 3,000/- (for pay level-11) or Rs 5,000/- (for pay level-12) is also provided.
• For Non-Pensioners (retired from PSUs):

• For Government Employees retired under National Pension Scheme (NPS): Remuneration will be the last basic pay drawn minus an amount equivalent to 30% of that last basic pay. Conveyance allowance will be Rs 3,000/- (for pay level-11) or Rs 5,000/- (for pay level-12).
• Consultants are not entitled to other allowances like Dearness Allowance, Transport Facility, Residential Accommodation, Personal Staff, CGHS, or Medical Reimbursement. However, they are entitled to TA/DA for official travel.
