Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Super Specialist: A recognized medical qualification as per Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Must possess MCh/DM/DNB or equivalent in the concerned Super specialty.
- Specialist (Junior/Senior): Post Graduate Degree/DNB, or Diploma in the concerned specialty after MBBS with TCMC registration. For Casualty/ICU, PG Degree or PG Diploma in Anesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Emergency Medicine.
- Senior Resident: For Superspeciality departments, DM/DrNB is preferred. For Specialty departments, Post Graduate Degree/DNB or Diploma is required. For ICU/Casualty, PG Degree/Diploma in relevant fields is required. In absence of PG qualifications for Casualty, MBBS doctors with at least two years experience will be considered.
Age Limit Details
- Super Specialist / Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years as on the date of interview.
- Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview.
- Relaxation for SC, ST & OBC as per government rules.
Salary & Pay Scale
- Super Specialist (Full Time): Entry Level - Rs. 2,00,000/- per month; Senior Level - Rs. 2,40,000/- per month.
- Super Specialist (Part Time): Entry Level - Rs. 1,00,000/- per month; Consultant (Senior Level) - Rs. 1,50,000/- per month.
- Specialist (Full Time): Junior Specialist (Level 11) - Rs. 1,38,108/-; Senior Specialist (Level 12) - Rs. 1,60,752/-.
- Specialist (Part Time): Rs. 60,000/- per month.
- Senior Resident (Level 11): Approximately Rs. 1,38,108/- per month for PG Degree holders.

- Reporting Time: 09:00 AM
- Registration: From 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM only.
- Venue: CONFERENCE HALL, ESIC MODEL AND SUPERSPECIALITY HOSPITAL, ASRAMAM.
- Applicants should bring the application in the prescribed proforma, all original documents, one set of Xerox copies of all documents, two recent passport size photographs, and the requisite application fee as a Demand Draft at the time of the interview.
Application Fee
Application fee must be paid via Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'Employees' State Insurance Fund – Account No 1' payable at Kollam.
- General/EWS/OBC Candidates: Rs. 250/-
- SC/ST Candidates: Rs. 50/-
- PWD/Female Applicants: Exempted from Application Fee.
