Honorarium and Allowances for Inquiry Officer Engagement:

• Lump Sum per inquiry:
  • Rs. 30,000/- for up to 5 witnesses.
  • Rs. 40,000/- for 6-10 witnesses.
  • Rs. 50,000/- for more than 10 witnesses.
• Secretarial assistance per inquiry:
  • Rs. 5,000/- for up to 5 witnesses.
  • Rs. 7,500/- for 6-10 witnesses.
  • Rs. 10,000/- for more than 10 witnesses.
• Transport Allowance per sitting:
  • Rs. 1,000/- for those residing up to 100 kms.
  • Rs. 1,500/- for those residing beyond 100 kms and up to 200 kms.
  • Rs. 1,750/- for those residing beyond 200 kms.
• Additional for Common/Joint Inquiries: An additional 50% on the lump sum amount (i.e., Rs. 45,000 / Rs. 60,000 / Rs. 75,000, as applicable) will be paid if more than two Charged Officers/Chargesheeted employees are involved.
• Engagement is on a contract basis for each inquiry. No other allowances or benefits apply.

• Proof of Age (School Leaving Certificate/Birth Certificate)
• Educational Qualifications (Degree Certificate)
• Experience Proof (Retirement/Resignation from Govt. department/Autonomous Body/PSU, proof of managerial grade at retirement, proof of experience in conducting departmental inquiry)
• Identity & Residence Proof (Aadhar card / Voter ID etc.)
