The position manages the financial lifecycle and accounting machinery for 'GoVan' (Conservation of Biodiversity through Livelihood Intervention), an initiative under the Department of Environment & Climate Change supporting rural self-help groups, local bio-resource processing centers, and marketing of traditional Goan biodiversity products. Core duties include maintaining project books in Tally Prime, processing vendor bills and disbursements, preparing Grant Utilization Certificates (UCs), handling GST/TDS returns, facilitating internal and statutory government audits, and presenting expenditure statements to the Member Secretary. The work is carried out during state government office hours (09:30 AM to 05:45 PM) in a scenic, heritage-rich village setting in North Goa.
