Educational Qualification
Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Geography/Geology/Mathematics/Geo-informatics/Physics/Computer Science or a related field with Certificate/Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing or in Geo-informatics.
- Or, M.Tech/M.Sc. in GIS & Remote sensing/Geo-Informatics.
- Or, MCA/M.A,/M.Sc. in Geography/Geology/Mathematics/Environmental Science with Geo-informatics as one of the subject or Certificate or Diploma in GIS/Remote Sensing or Geo-informatics.

How to Apply
Candidates must apply in the Standard Form of application published in Part-IX of Assam Gazette. The application, along with copies of all testimonials and 3 recent passport-size photographs with self-attestation, should be addressed to:
"THE DISTRICT COMMISSIONER, CACHAR, SILCHAR" RKG Branch
The completed application should reach the Registered Kanungo Branch of Office of the District Commissioner, Cachar, Silchar, on or before 25th November, 2025 upto 5:00 PM. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
The envelope for submission should be of size 25 CM X 11 CM.
