Guest Faculty

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about teaching at the higher secondary level, particularly in subjects like English, Odia, Political Science, History, Economics, and Sociology. It suits both fresh Post Graduate degree holders (with at least 50% marks in their respective subjects) looking for their initial teaching experience, and experienced or retired Government/Non-Government/Aided teachers (below 65 years of age) seeking to continue their contribution to education. Candidates with a B.Ed. degree or PGDCA will have a significant advantage.

Candidates without a Post Graduate degree in one of the specified subjects or those not meeting the minimum 50% marks eligibility criterion should not apply. Individuals looking for a permanent, fixed-salary government position will find this contractual, per-class remuneration model unsuitable. Applicants expecting TA/DA for the interview will be disappointed as none is admissible.

This engagement offers an opportunity to work as a guest faculty in a State Government Upgraded Higher Secondary School, contributing to local education. While it is a contractual position for the academic session 2026-27, it provides valuable teaching experience and an association with a government institution.
