ICMR-National Institute of Health Research (formerly RMRC Bhubaneswar), located at Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, is a premier biomedical research centre of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The Junior Consultant (Medical) will lead technical operations under the national 'DRISTI Bharat Tribal Health Observatory' project. Responsibilities encompass epidemiological surveillance, designing community health intervention modules, supervising field survey teams in remote tribal districts across Odisha, coordinating health registry data, liaison with state health directorates, and preparing high-level technical briefs for ICMR and MoHFW. Working atmosphere combines institutional epidemiology data synthesis with periodical field visits to tribal habitations. Standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
