Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Educational requirements vary by specific post code, ranging from Graduation in any discipline for field staff to Ph.D. or M.Tech./M.Sc. in relevant specialized scientific fields (Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Physics, Engineering, etc.) for Scientist roles.
- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA required for most scientific/technical positions.
Age Limit Details
Age limit varies per post (typically 28 to 65 years). Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Ex-servicemen is applicable as per Government of India norms.
Salary & Pay Scale
- Project Manager/Program Manager: Rs. 1,25,000/- consolidated.
- Project Scientist-III: Rs. 78,000/- + HRA.
- Project Scientist-II: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA.
- Project Scientist-I: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA.
- Technical/Scientific roles: Varies between Rs. 18,000/- to Rs. 44,900/- + HRA depending on post grade.
