Indian Railway PG Institute of Medical Sciences & NRCH Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: 23 Vacancies

Applicants must meet one of the following:

• Possess a Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) recognized by NMC/NBE in the relevant specialty, with the tenure completed before the interview date.
• Possess a Post Graduate Diploma recognized by NMC/NBE in the relevant specialty, with the tenure completed before the interview date.
• Alternatively (if PG qualified candidates are not available): Hold an MBBS degree with at least three years of experience after MBBS in the concerned specialty. This must include one year of Junior Residency from a Government Hospital (300 beds or more) or an NMC recognized/NBE accredited private hospital (300 beds or more). The three-year Junior Residency tenure must be completed before the interview date.

All candidates must also have a valid registration with the Medical Council of India (NMC), Delhi Medical Council (DMC), or State Medical Council. Proof of application for DMC registration is mandatory before joining if not already registered.

The age limit for candidates, as on 2026-04-01, is as follows:

• General/UR: Not exceeding 37 years
• OBC: Not exceeding 40 years
• SC/ST: Not exceeding 42 years

In cases where candidates within these specified age limits are not available, a further relaxation applies:

• General/UR: Up to 40 years
• OBC: Up to 43 years
• SC/ST: Up to 45 years
