Posts are categorized under Pay Level 2, Pay Level 3, Pay Level 4, Pay Level 5, and Pay Level 6. Specific monetary details for each level are not provided in this notification.

The TBT Online Examination will comprise four subjects. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

• English Language (General English): Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/ Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/ Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/ Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/ Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Close Passage, Comprehension Passage.
• General Intelligence: Includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. Topics: Semantic Analogy, Symbolic operations, Symbolic/ Number Analogy, Trends, Figural Analogy, Space Orientation, Semantic Classification, Venn Diagrams, Symbolic/ Number Classification, Drawing inferences, Figural Classification, Punched hole/ pattern-folding & unfolding, Semantic Series, Figural Pattern-folding and completion, Number Series, Embedded figures, Figural Series, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Emotional Intelligence, Word Building, Social Intelligence, Coding and de-coding, Numerical operations, Other sub-topics.
• Quantitative Aptitude:
  • Number Systems: Computation of Whole Number, Decimal and Fractions, Relationship between numbers.
  • Fundamental arithmetical operations: Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest (Simple and Compound), Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and distance, Time and work.
  • Algebra: Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary surds (simple problems) and Graphs of Linear Equations.
  • Geometry: Familiarity with elementary geometric figures and facts: Triangle and its various kinds of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles.
  • Mensuration: Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square Base.
  • Trigonometry: Trigonometry, Trigonometric ratios, Complementary angles, Height and distances (simple problems only).
  • Statistical Charts: Use of Tables and Graphs: Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar-diagram, Pie-chart.
• General Awareness: Questions to test general awareness of the environment, current events, and knowledge of India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General policy and scientific research.

Note: For Visually Handicapped (VH) candidates with 40% and above visual disability opting for a SCRIBE, there will be no component of Maps/Graphs/Diagrams/Statistical Data in the General Intelligence/General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude paper.

Eligible candidates must apply only online through the official website: https://erecruitment.andamannicobar.gov.in.

• The application link will be active from 15/06/2026 (12:00 Noon) until 05/07/2026 (12:00 Midnight).
• No physical copy of the application will be entertained.
• Candidates do not need to upload documents during the initial online application. Document verification will be conducted later.
• Applicants must have an active personal E-mail ID and Mobile Number, which should be kept active throughout the recruitment process.
• Candidates need to upload a good quality Photograph (20 KB - 50 KB, 200x230 resolution) and Signature (10 KB - 20 KB, 140x60 resolution) in JPG/JPEG format.
• Other documents (proof of age, qualifications, category, NOC, etc.) between 100 KB and 500 KB need to be uploaded as instructed in the online portal.
• Candidates should read the eligibility conditions carefully and ensure they meet all requirements before applying.
• It is advised to submit applications well before the closing date to avoid any last-minute technical issues.
• Candidates may apply for one or more posts in order of preference, provided they are eligible.
• No re-evaluation or re-checking of Answer Sheets/Scripts will be entertained.
• Once the online application form is submitted, no requests for change, correction, or modification will be entertained.

A fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) is payable. Payment can be made using Net Banking, VISA/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card, UPI Payment/QR Code.

Exemption: Female candidates, Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
