It provides comprehensive medical care to Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and their dependents through a nationwide network of ECHS Polyclinics and empanelled private hospitals.

Educational Qualification

OIC Polyclinic: Graduate (Retired officers only).
Medical Officer: MBBS degree.
Pharmacist: B Pharmacy from a recognized institute.
Dental Assistant: Diploma in Dental Hygiene or Class 1 DH/DORA Course from Armed Forces.
Female Attendant: Must be Literate.

Age Limit Details

Appointments are for a period of one year, renewable for an additional year or until attaining the maximum prescribed age limit for the specific post.

A medical fitness certificate signed by a Medical Officer of a dependent Polyclinic and countersigned by SEMO (for ESM) or CMO (for others) must be attached.
